My last post was Wednesday night, i sald then that i was starting to feel crap but from the next day on i went realy low with myself - the last 4 days have been awful and i have been battling with my head to not give up this challenge (which at times came very close).
The problem started when i accepted some health & Fitness consultancy at a health club, i enjoy the new work very much but the days are very long (i do at least 50 hours a week in the club) on top of my freelance personal training. When i get home all i want to do is eat quick and get to sleep - this week it all caught up with me and i simply crashed. Because i have been thrown out of my routine my mind thinks im failing when actually im not, my routine simply needs tweaking, but the last 4 days i didnt see it that way and for those days i gave up.
Over the weekend i have had a good think about things and believe i have come up with the right formula for my new job role. I am going to do 3 weight sessions per week each one a total body session with at least 48 hours rest between the sessions, then on the other days im going to do cardio 60% max heart rate for fat burn hopefully first thing in the morning (where i seem to have most energy) this will also not knacker me out for the rest of the day like HIIT would.
This is the new plan. my apologies for going off the rails for a few days, its my fault for not planning but i have done something about now and i am eager to try the new workouts.
